Amybeth McNulty was born in the Republic of Ireland but was brought up in Canada. Her most well-known role is her role as the main character Anne Shirley in the CBC/Netflix drama series Anne with an E, inspired by the 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
